IDRA® HYDROGEL physically protects the wound and promotes the correct renewed cutaneous epithelialization.

Creates the optimum moist condition that enhances a correct healing process. May be applied on all types of wounds that need protection and hydration, and promotes healing from abrasions, scrapes, tears, burns and scalding.

IDRA® HYDROGEL is composed of a polymer that is able to hold an enormous amount of water in its tri-dimensional network and over a long period of time is able to resist breakage caused by saline substances present in the blood and in wound exudates.

The polymer does not break immediately on contact with the saline substances and thus ensures a gradual water release, resulting in a prolonged hydration with time and is more effective compared to traditional polymers. IDRA® HYDROGEL helps the healing process since it keeps the wound environment moist for a longer period compared to traditional hydrogels. Reduces pain: the sensation of freshness when product is applied minimizes pain and soothes the treated areas. Promotes healing and prevents ugly scarring.

IDRA® HYDROGEL ensures the maintenance of the ideal moisture of wounds, accelerates tissue renewal and reduces the possible onset of ugly scars. Protects against external agents: the emollient features of the inert oils and filmogens protects the wound from aggressions coming from the external environment (air, powders, smog, irritants).

Easy and painless removal - not adhere to the wound, so its removal and replacement is not painful. Application in dry necrotic wounds and - provides the necessary hydration to prevent cracking of the crust and eschar formation - and wet wounds and exsudantes - absorbs the excess exudate and restores the balance of the wound hydration.
